The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, paid today, Monday, an inspection visit to the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council and the National Assembly of the Council.
During the visit, President Al-Zubaidi, got briefed on the work progress, the level of discipline, and the accomplishment of the tasks assigned to the departments and committees, after a series of meetings he held during the past period with the heads and members of the departments and committees.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to exert double efforts at all levels, especially during the coming period, which requires more work than before, noting that the South is heading towards important and sensitive entitlements.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of raising the pace of work in all departments of the General Secretariat and committees of the National Assembly, and of developing the Council’s institutional work in all aspects, in a way that assists the Council’s leadership in facing the challenges ahead of it.
In turn, the heads and members of the General Secretariat departments and the National Assembly committees valued the great efforts made by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi in seeking southern reunification through launching the Southern National Dialogue, in addition to his efforts to restore the state of the south with its full sovereignty on the borders before May 21, 1990.
They also affirmed doing their utmost to contribute in strengthening and developing the progress in their departments and committees, and their relentless efforts to develop institutional work in all departments of the General Secretariat and National Assembly committees.
