The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Wednesday, held its periodic meeting in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General.
At the beginning of the meeting, the General Secretariat extended congratulations to the people of the South, and the southern armed forces, and the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the glorious National Independence Day, November 30.
The meeting commended the success of the festive event organized by the General Secretariat on the occasion of Independence Day, and the efforts made by the Cultural Department and the departments involved in its implementation, and what was presented at the ceremony, calling for more efforts to be made when implementing such activities.
The meeting reviewed report of the political scene submitted by the Political Department, which dealt with a number of political issues, including the political impact of the Independence Day anniversary of November 30, as well as the political dimensions of the visit of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council, to the Kingdome of Saudi and his meetings with the United Nations and American envoys and ambassadors of the great countries, as he presented a number of political issues related to the South, and its people and cause.
The meeting discussed the performance report of the Department of Social Affairs in the General Secretariat for the third quarter of the year 2021, which included the activities and events carried out by the department during the months of July-August-September, as well as the department’s organizational performance during the mentioned period, in addition to the most important difficulties that the department faced and the proposed recommendations regarding them.
The meeting reviewed reports of the weekly activities of the departments of the General Secretariat for the fourth week of November 2021, and also reviewed and approved its previous minutes.
