The Supreme Economic Committee reviews its work plan for the year 2022

The Supreme Economic Committee, on Wednesday, held its periodic meeting at the committee’s headquarters in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Mohammed Ali Matash, head of the committee.

The meeting discussed the activity of the Supreme Economic Committee, which included all the work it carried out during the year 2021.

The meeting discussed the annual work plan of the Economic Committee and the approved plans for its work, which are scheduled to be implemented during the year 2022.

The committee reviewed the activities of its sub-committees, reviewed their achievements, and evaluated the tasks they accomplished during the year 2021.

In its meeting, the Supreme Economic Committee valued the role of the negotiating delegation and the role it plays in advancing the implementation of the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement, which resulted in encouraging outcomes on the political and economic side.

The Economic Committee also praised the role of the second Hadrami uprising and the resulting disclosure of the corruption and exposing the looting of the wealth of the south.

The committee also reviewed a number of prominent economic issues on the southern arena, and reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
