The General Secretariat holds its periodic meeting and reviews report of political scene

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Wednesday, held its periodic meeting, headed by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, the Deputy Secretary-General.

The meeting reviewed a report from the Political Department about the political scene during the past two weeks, including the most prominent local, regional and international events and developments and the extent of their impact on the people of the South and their cause militarily, politically and economically, in addition to a number of recommendations on the issues mentioned in the report.

The meeting got briefed on the most prominent meetings and field visits of the departments of the General Secretariat during the past third of current month, stressing the importance of intensifying the work related to the southern community and the need to strengthen activities that are in the interest of the South, its cause and people.

The meeting touched on the latest political, economic, security and service developments in the southern national arena, as well as organizational and administrative issues related to the level of organizational and administrative work in the departments of the General Secretariat and the executive bodies of local leaderships in the governorates of the South.

The meeting reviewed the achievements reports of the activities of the General Secretariat’s departments during the past week, and also reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
