President Al-Zubaidi Briefed on Situation of Post Office and Developing Postal Service Project

The president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council, on Sunday morning, at his office, in the capital Aden, met with Eng. Sami Al-Barati, Director of the General Corporation for Post and Postal Saving.

 President Al-Zubaidi was briefed, from Al-Barati, on the postal situation in the capital Aden and all governorates, and attempts to implement a project to develop posts and upgrade postal service in accordance with the latest international specifications and standards, which were approved by the government in Resolution No. 25 of the year 2021, as well as the exerted efforts by management of the corporation in communicating with the Universal Postal Union to progress the postal points in the capital, Aden.

 In this context, the president stressed the need to implement this project as soon as possible, because its importance is closely related to lives of citizens in all governorates.

 The meeting touched on conditions of the employees in post offices and efforts to accelerate productive activities, which would have a positive impact on the lives of people and employees in all governorates.

 For his part, Eng. Sami Al-Barati expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the president in supporting management of the corporation, and his constant keenness to overcome obstacles that stand in its way.
