The president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council, on Tuesday, at his office, in the capital Aden, received a delegation from people of Al-Bayda governorate, headed by Major General Naser Al-Khidr Al-Sawadi, governor of the governorate. The president Al-Zubaidi listened from the governor Al-Sawadi and the delegates on a satisfied explanation of the overall situation in Al-Bayda, which is still under the control of Houthi militias, and the people’s suffering resulted from daily violations and inhumane acts practiced by leaders and armed personnel of these militias. President Al-Zubaidi was also briefed on the military situation in the fighting fronts of Al-Bayda, and level of combat readiness of its resistance, in light of the ongoing breaches of the UN truce by Houthi militias. The president Al-Zubaidi highlighted that Al-Bayda governorate has a specific status and is historically related to the South, moreover, there are many common factors in this governorate coincide with their brothers from the neighboring governorates of the South. The president reiterated readiness of the STC and the Southern Armed Forces to support the Popular Resistance in Al-Bayda, to curb Houthi militias, and liberate the governorate in the event that militias have not responded to rigorous efforts of peace. In turn, the governor of Al-Bayda and his companions expressed their immense gratitude and appreciation to the president Al-Zubaidi for the warm welcoming they have received, and his sincere brotherly positions and incessant support to people of this governorate, emphasizing their readiness to perform any tasks that would lead to rid Al-Bayda of Houthis’ control, sectarian and dynastic notions and agendas that they are painstakingly trying to impose on people of the governorate.
