The president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council, met two deputies of governors of Lahj and Aden governorates for the Youth Affairs; Mr. Abdul-Rauf Al-Saqqaf and Mr. Wadah Al-Halimi.
The president Al-Zubaidi listened from Al-Saqqaf and Al-Halimi, to a brief explanation of the youth activities and events in the capital Aden and Lahj governorate, as well as the plans and programs to be implemented in the upcoming period in the scope of vitalizing the role of young people and consolidating their presence within the community.
The meeting, which was attended by Mr. Mansour Zaid, Head of the Organizational Department in the General Secretariat of Presidency of the STC, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, touched on mechanisms and ways of involving young people in decision-making and empowering them to participate in administrating State institutions, and designing policies of the upcoming stage.
The president stressed the importance of empowering the youth in all fields, intensifying training and qualifying programs, and raising their efficiency to be ready to assume national responsibilities and keep up with developments of the stage.
