Media and Information Department, in the General Secretariat of Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), headed by Dr. Bassem Mansoor, head of the department and member of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) with his accompanying team paid an inspection visit, on Sunday, to the Media Administration in the local leadership executive body of the STC in Al-Dhale’a and was briefed on its performance and the most prominent developments.
The team of the Media Department, headed by Dr. Mansoor, was received by Brigadier Abdullah Mahdi, head of the local leadership executive body of the STC in Al-Dhalea governorate, who welcomed the department’s team, lauding the immensely exerted efforts and the role that it dedicatedly performs in the media field.
During the meeting with cadre of the local leadership of the STC in Al-Dhale’a, in the presence of Mr. Qassem Saleh Naji, deputy head the executive body, and Dr. Saeed Bayounis, member of the National Assembly of the STC, Dr. Mansoor delivered a speech in which he conveyed them the greetings of the president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, after that, prayed to Allah the Almighty to bestow His vast mercy on the late Abdul-Kareem Al-Na’awi, head of the Media Administration in the local leadership of the STC in Al-Dhale’a.
In this paid visit, Dr. Bassem reviewed the main goals to be achieved in the media work represented by fulfilling the aspirations of the southern people, indicating the keenness and interest of the media department to develop the performance of media administrations in governorates of the South, providing solutions that contribute to ease what hinders their work, enhance the performance, overcome the encountered difficulties and to raise all their requirements to the concerned authorities to promote and develop the work in coping up with the current stage.
Mr. Qaid Darban, head of media administration in the Transitional Council of Al-Dhalea governorate, gave a speech in which he thanked the Media Department of the General Secretariat of the STC, for this visit, and their exerted efforts to improve and promote progressing the work of the administration; at the same time, delivered an explanation in which he highlighted the nature and the needed requirements of the media administration to promote media workflow.
The meeting dealt with several topics related to the media work
and its various means on the ground, including the most prominent media visions and activities, as well as the needs of the media cadre and the supplemented requirements for its work that serves the supreme goals of the South and its people.
