The Southern Transitional Council (STC) welcomes the agreement announced between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran, mediated by the People’s Republic of China, which includes the resumption of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The STC welcomes this positive development and hopes that this deal will contribute to the consolidation of regional and global security and stability.
Our welcome proceeds from an earlier call made by President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, in which he called on the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran to dialogue and the resumption of ties as an embodiment of our keenness to strengthen relations between the peoples and countries of our region.
