The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Wednesday in the capital Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the Presidium of the STC and deputy of the Secretary General.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretariat congratulated the people of the South and the Arab and Islamic nations on the commencement of Eid Al-Fitr, may Allah returns it with prosperity, peace, and happiness and fulfilling the aspirations of the people of the South to restore and build their state.
The meeting hailed the remarkable success of the Department of Youth and Students in commemorating the eighth anniversary of the liberation of the capital, Aden, with the active participation of various groups of the community. It is a memory that carries with it the connotation of sacrifice and the military victory that led to the political triumph.
The meeting reviewed the performance report of the “Woman and Child” and “Public” departments during the first quarter of the year 2023, the activities and tasks related to their organizational work during the aforementioned period, and their functionally-oriented coordination with the sub-departments (administrations) in the governorates of the South.
The meeting touched on a range of topics and issues related to the governorates of the South and presented suggestions that can lead to boosting and upgrading the workflow.
The meeting shed light on the weekly activity report on departments of the Secretariat, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
