STCs Secretariat Hails Southerners Robust Participation in Consultative Meeting of Southern Political Components

The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the Presidium of the STC and deputy of the Secretary General.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretariat hailed the positive and active participation of the people of the South in the consultative meeting of the southern political components both at home and abroad, which is scheduled to be held tomorrow, Thursday, in the capital, Aden, because of its great importance in achieving the goals of restoring the federal state of the South.

The meeting discussed the performance report of the political department for the first quarter of the year 2023, its functionally-oriented coordination with the sub-departments (administrations) in the governorates of the South, and the level of job discipline in the Secretariat during the month of April as per a report submitted by the Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs, in addition to shedding light on the most prominent developments in the southern arena at various levels.

The meeting reviewed the weekly activity report of departments of the general secretariat and accomplished tasks during the past week, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
