The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Thursday at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, chaireded by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the Presidium of the STC and Deputy of Secretary General.
At the beginning of the meeting, the General Secretariat Congratulated the grand success of the consultative meeting of the southern political components,which culminated in the signing of the Southern National Charter, praising the efforts made by the internal and external southern national dialogue teams (ISNDT and ESNDT) to converge the views of all political and societal components of the southern community to unify the southern ranks and come up with a unified national front to fulfill the aspirations of the people the South to restore the independent federal state of the South.
Likewise, the Secretariat congratulated all those who were included in the decrees of President Al-Zubaidi, on the restructuring of the STC’s bodies, wishing them all success in their national tasks, fulfilling the aspirations of the people of the South in all political, economic and service aspects, and defending the South and preserving its gained achievements.
The meeting reviewed the performance report of the Studies and Research Department during the first quarter of the year 2023, and the activities and tasks related to its organizational work during the aforementioned period.
The meeting discussed the two reports on the political and economic landscape, which included a range of political and economic issues related to the governorates of the South.
The meeting touched on a range of topics and issues related to the governorates of the South and presented suggestions that can lead to boosting and upgrading the workflow.
The meeting shed light on the weekly activity report of departments of the General Secretariat, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
