President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Saturday, with the Governor of Al-Bayda Governorate, Major General Nasser Al-Khidr Al-Sawadi.
President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the governor, Mr. Al-Sawadi, on the conditions of citizens in Al-Bayda Governorate and their continued suffering resulted from the Houthi militia’s daily violations and inhumane acts practiced against them, as well as the suffering of the residents of certain areas that are under the control of terrorist elements from Al-Qaeda and ISIS.
President Al-Zubaidi reiterated his support for the governor, Al-Sawadi, in his efforts to unify the popular and tribal potentials to establish a real resistance that undertakes the tasks of liberating the governorate from Houthi domination, purging it of terrorist elements, and warding off its threat from the people of the governorate, neighbouring governorates, and the entire region.
At the end of the meeting, the governor of Al-Bayda appreciated the incessant support of President Al-Zubaidi, as well as his true positions in backing the popular resistance in the governorate, and readiness to provide more support to rid the governorate of the Houthi occupation, combat terrorist elements, and ward off their danger from the governorate and the region in general.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Emad Mohammed, Office Head of the Vice President of the PLC.
