Scientific Conference under sponsorship of Transitional Council discusses economic future of Aden

Under the sponsorship of the Southern Transitional Council, the Faculty of Economics and Political Science of Aden University held on Monday, in Aden the capital, the first annual scientific conference, and under the supervision of the presidency of the University of Aden.

The conference discussed over two days (the economic future of the city of Aden), with the participation of a selection of professors, academics and economists.

Mr. Fadhl Al-Jadi, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, delivered a speech in the conference in which he stressed that the subject of the conference is important and reflects a deep understanding of the economic issues and problems of the South.

Al-Jadi said: “ The development of the economic infrastructure is a major challenge to tackle corruption, which is an obstacle to domestic and foreign investments, and requires strong, broad-based South will and administrative empowerment to develop economic and services institutions with legal, judicial and security protection,”.

Al-Jadi concluded: “We have confidence in this conference and the scientific economic potential of its participants as we see in them the future of economic leadership in a fully sovereign, independent, federal South State,”.

It’s worth to mention that this scientific economic conference aims to provide economic insights that will be a road map for the economy of the capital Aden.
