The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the National Southern Media Authority, Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, received on Thursday, Brigadier General Awsan Fadl Al-Anshly, Commander of Storm (Asifa) Forces.
The meeting was attended by the Vice Chairman of the National Southern Media Authority, Head of the Radio and Television Sector, Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei, in which Brigadier General Al-Anshly delivered an explanation of the work progress in the authority and its achievements during a short period.
Brigadier-General Al-Anshly praised the achievements of the National Southern Media Authority in all fields, including the inauguration of the Media Center of the Southern Armed Forces headed by the spokesperson of the Southern Armed Forces, Lt. Col. Mohammed Qaid Al-Naqeeb, stressing that the inauguration of the center represents a giant step towards unifying the military and security media discourse, which is reflected positively on security and military agencies in the performance of their tasks.
Brigadier General Awsan Al-Anshly affirmed the stance of the leadership of the Asifa Forces, along with the authority, and its leadership and all its affiliates, which is keen to arrange the security and military media system in a manner commensurate with the important stage the South is going through, praising in this context the role of the Southern Armed Forces Media Center Department and the efforts they are making.
The meeting was attended by Lt. Col. Mohammed Al-Naqeeb, the official spokesman for the Southern Armed Forces, and Lt. Col. Marwan Al-Shaeri, Head of Operations for the Asifa Forces.
