General Secretariat Appreciates President’s Speech at the Opening of the Assemblys Fifth Session

ByThe General-secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting, on Wednesday, in the capital Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, Deputy of the secretary general.

The meeting valued the speech of the president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, at the opening of the fifth session of the National Assembly, which was loaded with many indications, expressed keenness to the southern unity and announced on the inauguration of the internal southern dialogue.

The meeting reviewed a report on the weekly activities of departments of the General Secretariat and discussed the meeting plan of the Secretariat for the third quarter of this year.

Likewise, the meeting discussed a report on the performance of the Martyrs and Wounded Department during the first quarter of this year and another report on the political scene during the past two weeks.

Similarly, the meeting touched on organizing framework, strengthening coordination and joint cooperation between departments of the secretariat as well as the current developments and the continuous deterioration of living conditions and services.

The attendees presented a number of constructive opinions, suggestions and recommendations that would contribute to alleviate the citizens’ suffering.

To that end the meeting reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
