The General Secretariat holds its periodic meeting chaired by Al-Jaadi

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Monday, its regular meeting chaired by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General, and in the presence of Advocate Niran Sooki, member of the Presidency, and Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly.

Al-Jaadi briefed the heads of departments on the outcomes of the Presidency’s meeting, in which they expressed the Southern Transitional Council’s appreciation and satisfaction with the efforts made by the parties, especially the Arab coalition countries led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which sponsors the negotiation to form a power-sharing government between the south and the north and uphold the citizens ’interest in the work of the government, stressing the importance of South-South convergence, and the improvement of the organizational work in the local leadership and the functioning of the trade unions of the south.

The meeting listened to a report on the economic scene presented by the Economic Department,  that touched on many of the current economic issues on the southern arena and their implications for the living situation in the country.

The meeting discussed the performance report of the Human Rights Department during the period (June – September 2020), its level of performance and its most important activities in the aforementioned period, and the most prominent achievements during the period.

The meeting reviewed the reports of the activities of the General Secretariat departments during the past week, and the minutes of its previous meeting that were reviewed and approved.
